That’s why I’ve curated this guide to NYC, highlighting my favorite hotels for a restful stay, the best restaurants for fueling up (or indulging!), and my go-to fitness studios.

From chic boutique hotels to hidden dining gems and fitness studios that make working out feel fun, this guide has everything you need to navigate NYC like a pro. Whether it’s your first trip to the city or your hundredth, these recommendations will help you feel right at home while staying focused on your goals. Let’s dive in!

Where To Stay

Sonder Duane Street

Located in the heart of Tribeca, this boutique hotel provides both comfort and security in a prime location, perfect for those in town for castings or shoots. I personally love staying with Sonder when traveling for work because many of their locations offer discounts for longer stays and feel more like an apartment than a traditional hotel room. Plus, most rooms come with a kitchen or at least a refrigerator, which is a great bonus for sticking to your nutrition goals while on the go. Check out this location and one of their other 13 properties located in NYC.

Restaurants You Must Try

Ume Williamsburg

Located in Brooklyn near Domino Park, Ume is a go-to spot known for its exquisite $79 omakase experience, Ume offers a carefully curated menu that’s as visually stunning as it is delicious—perfect for indulging in something special while staying mindful of quality and presentation. The atmosphere is chic yet intimate, with an authentic Japanese dinning setup that creates a calm, rejuvenating space to recharge. Ume's omakase is the ideal way to savor the artistry of Japanese cuisine while soaking in a setting that truly inspires. Make your reservations here.

Pasta Eater

Located in East Village, Pasta Eater is the perfect spot to treat yourself after a successful week of castings or a long photoshoot. This chic Italian-inspired restaurant offers handmade pasta that’s as delicious as it is decadent, with my two favorite dishes being the rich truffle mac and cheese and classic bolognese. The stylish yet cozy ambiance makes it ideal for a celebratory dinner with friends or a special night out after a big job. I highly recommend snagging a reservation here.

Simple Cafe

Located in Brooklyn, this French Algerian spot is a must for Brunch! I just happened across this spot and I am so happy I did. With an adorable interior and attached home goods boutique, this spot is great for a girls day out or a day date. I instantly fell in love with their ricotta lemon pancakes and honestly cannot wait to go back! I highly recommend making a reservation as seating is limited. Check out this spot here.

Moko NYC

Located in East Village, Moko NYC is a must-visit for models looking to treat themselves to a chic dining experience in the city. Known for its $95 omakase, this spot is perfect for a night of indulgence, offering a curated menu that highlights the freshest ingredients. The intimate and stylish ambiance makes it an ideal choice for a post-casting dinner or a celebratory night out. Don’t miss the perfectly crafted nigiri and melt-in-your-mouth wagyu beef—they’re worth every bite. Don’t miss making a reservation in advance here, as this trendy spot fills up fast.

Workouts You Must Try

Good Day Pilates

Located in both Soho and Brooklyn, Good Day Pilates is hands down my favorite fitness class in NYC. The Soho studio is a dream, featuring incredible windows that open up to some of the most stunning architecture in the city. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere of the studio is welcoming and comfortable. The workout itself is intense in all the right ways, leaving me feeling empowered and ready to take on whatever comes my way. As a new client, I took advantage of their welcome offer for just $75 and attended three days in a row. Book their welcome offer here.

Yoga Space

Located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, this yoga studio is a must-visit. With a beautiful indoor space and an even more breathtaking rooftop offering stunning sunrise and sunset views, it’s the perfect place to practice. I took a Vinyasa Flow class indoors and a rooftop sunset flow, and both were incredible. The instructors are not only friendly and approachable but also radiate positive energy, leaving you feeling seen, heard, and recharged. As a new client, if you book through their website, you can enjoy two weeks of free classes! Book your first class here.
