Setting Your Intentions for December

As we enter the final month of the year, it’s the perfect time to pause, reflect, and set intentions for how we want to close out 2024. Whether you’re a model balancing a demanding schedule or someone prioritizing wellness, this is an opportunity to align with what truly matters and embrace a sense of peace and purpose. The holidays and year-end can often bring a mix of joy and overwhelm. Amidst the busy days, setting intentions helps us stay grounded and mindful. It's a way to reclaim control over how we experience this season and prioritize our well-being.

Here are the intentions I’ve set for myself this December, and I hope they inspire you too::

  • Be mindful of who has access to your energy. Protect your space by choosing to surround yourself with those who uplift and support you.

  • Focus on creating moments to cherish. Whether it’s decorating your space, having coffee with a friend, or simply journaling, embrace the magic in small moments.

  • Lean into what truly matters. Filter out distractions and focus on what aligns with your values and goals.

  • Hold space for the smaller things. Recognize the beauty in simplicity and give attention to the little joys that often go unnoticed.

  • Let go of unrealistic expectations. This season isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. Give yourself permission to show up as you are.

  • Set boundaries to protect inner peace. It’s okay to say no to what doesn’t serve your well-being. Boundaries are a form of self-respect.

  • Listen to the wisdom of your nervous system. Tune into your body—rest when you’re tired, move when you feel energized, and breathe when you need to center yourself.

  • Be more present. Let go of distractions and savor the moments in front of you. Presence is a gift both to yourself and those around you.

  • Check in on those you love and care for. A thoughtful message or a call can mean the world to someone.

  • Rest, nourish, and restore. Prioritize your physical, emotional, and spiritual health through rest, nutritious food, and meaningful activities.

  • Create space for you too. Carve out time to reconnect with yourself and your needs.

  • Acknowledge the specialness of the gift of time. Time is precious—spend it intentionally and appreciate its value.

How to Set Your Intentions

One of my favorite tools for setting and staying connected to my intentions is the FORM Daily Check-In Journal. This journal is designed to help you take time out of your day to create intentions, build habits, and form the best version of yourself.

Each morning, you’ll check in with yourself using FORM’s thoughtful daily prompts. With space to note your thoughts, feelings, goals, and the things you’re grateful for, it becomes a beautiful way to center yourself before the day begins.

Using this journal daily can help you stay mindful of your December intentions and create a habit of reflection that lasts well into the new year.

A Month of Purpose

As December unfolds, revisit your intentions daily with the help of your journal. Adjust as needed, celebrate small victories, and give yourself grace. Let’s end this year not in a rush to check off to-do lists but with gratitude, presence, and a sense of inner calm.

Here’s to a December filled with peace, joy, and intention. How are you setting your intentions this month? I’d love to hear your thoughts and reflections.
